This one-day workshop is designed to help companies meet the EU Timber Regulation.
You will learn what the requirements of the regulation are and how they have been implemented and enforced so far, you will also gain an understanding of due diligence and how to use NEPCon’s tools to conduct your own. Guest speakers will also be present to give different perspectives and experiences. The afternoon session will involve an interactive session using NEPCon’s new Sourcing Hub and the risk assessments and tools available on it to investigate and discuss various sourcing scenarios across a series of themes*, such as:
- due diligence for Forest Management Enterprises;
- the use of certification;
- sourcing from Russia; and
- documentation, its uses and limitations.
Full agenda coming soon. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. The workshop will be conducted in English with interpretation into Polish.
The event is fully booked.

This workshop is conducted as part of the joint project ‘Supporting Legal Timber Trade’ aimed at supporting timber-related companies in Europe with knowledge, tools and training in the requirements of the EU Timber Regulation. Knowing your timber’s origin is not only good for the forests, but good for business. The joint project is funded by the EU LIFE programme and UK aid from the UK government.
