Carbon Management Standard Version 1.0 was subject to two rounds of public consultation. This brought insightful comments from stakeholders, significantly strengthening the impact and usability of the standard.
During the development of the CFM Standard, we conducted two public consultations and received much-appreciated inputs from experts and other stakeholders.
Consultation period closed
However we welcome feedback outside of official consultations.
A total of 43 comments were received from seven organisations in the first consultation which ran in 2012. Most comments referred to the concepts used, the level of obligatory Scope 3 emissions included, the issue of calculating land-use changes and alignment with other carbon standards.
Stakeholder feedback from the first public consultation has been carefully considered and addressed in a second draft of the standard which underwent a 60-day public consultation running 17 April - 21 June 2013.
